Bullying victimisation is quite prevalent in peer relationships among school-aged children and adolescents and can have negative and long-lasting consequences for their well-being. As adults, our responsibility is to detect the problem as soon as possible and promptly intervene to stop bullying and help the bullied child. Even more importantly, we should endeavour to prevent bullying from occurring and to build a positive and safe school climate.
